  • Role : UX Design Intern
  • Duration : December 2018 – February 2019
  • Tools : Miro

I interned as UX Designer in my past winter 2018 at Antigravity. Antigravity is a creative agency for digital product development. This is my first UI/UX Design intern experience, so it was so wonderful! Here, I do UX design process (breakdown requirement, do user research, define persona, create IA, user flow, wireframe) for real big project, such as:

  • BNI internal mobile app using their Term of Reference
  • Tugu Insurance’s Revamp Website (impact: winning project pitching)
  • Suzuki’s website
  • Sekretariat Kabinet Indonesia’s website revamp

While I can’t publicly share a lot of information, I’d love to share some of my key learning here:

  1. Always think out of the box. This is the major key of every single creative agency. Always do competitive analysis and be more creative than others. But, don’t forget about the problem that we would like to solve
  2. Mind reading your client. Digital agency is continously business. So, they need to create a great connection with their clients. Here’s the hardest part. Sometimes, what you think is completely different from what your client thinks. All of the research and design is based on the client’s expectation. Be creative but don’t forget with the client’s expectation and the problem that we want to solve.
  3. Fast, Fast, Fast! At Antigravity, we have limited research timeline. So, we need to think fast, act fast. How? Collaboration is the key. I learned to always brainstorming together so we can achieve the research result faster.
